On December 1, 1997, President Clinton signed the 
50 States Commemorative Coin Program Act.
The Commemorative Quarter Program was designed to honor 
the 50 states, promote patriotism and generate public interest
in the United States History. The only other Program similar to 
the Commemorative Coin Program was the minting of the 
special Bicentennial quarters back in 1975 and 1976.
We sell these Collectible U.S. State Commemorative Quarters, 
layered in Pure 24k Gold and we also sell them with Just the 
Coins dominant Figure Layered in pure 24k Gold. After the 
coins are layered, we then hermeticaly seal each coin with a 
super clear, hard impervious plastic (acryic) coating, that will 
not crack, peel or chip. With this extra protection, your coins 
will last forever in perfect, uncirculted condition. Then we place
each coin in it's own discriptive air tight holders which have gold
lettering on a black background.
